National Flower of China - tree peony (mudan). took a snapshot from forbidden city... man that place has 9999.5 rooms where the great emperors, his concubines, dowager, enuchs, majors, generals live..... juz like in the movies...
woooooooooo spooky... check this out! this is where emperor is given birth.... silk embroidery where only the royalties can afford. forbidden city is kept intake as what it was like 500 years ago juz like what it was to let us have a taste of the past.... the jade u've seen is white jade and it's priceless, used often by royalties to ward off evil spirits.

okie save the story abt the great wall of china... one of the wonders of the world...DUH~ and one sad thing abt it, it is also the graves of many many workers who build this wall with bare hands.. mind u... last time have no machines... juz legs and hands...some of the 300,000 troops build and died there... haiz poor things...
the locks of love........ awww... they carve names on the locks and hang it on the wall as a form a wish wall for them to be always be together... be it friends, lovers, family... sweet!
okie guess what!!!!!!!!! i reached the 2nd peak! only 20 people from our tour made it! YEAH.. GREAT achievement.. i nearly gave it up at the 1st station..there's about 5 stations... the picture shows the PEAK... juz abit more and we made it but we had time contraint...65 people from our dept and 20 made it means 40+ are waiting for us down there... the coming down was tough boy... scary! my leg was like shivering.. nevertheless, a small unfit ger like me made it :P

check this out! CRYSTAL JADE IN beijing is like a very very posh and high class restaurant.... im treated like a queen inside with all the crystal lights... NICE =D ohh that's both of my colleagues... our group got spilt up.... to many mini ones... she's pregnant btw... hehee... xin fu lian kong!

day 4... MORE SHOPPING! of coz no time to take fotos la... last day le...... GOU BU LI BAO ZI... okiee not too bad... quite nice but tell me to eat another time? dun think so.. my other group of colleagues tried scorpions, silk worms and blah... for me.. dun think i will have the courage..eeeeeeeee one thing beijing food not very nice..they like to cook salty and oily.. terrible.... i miss singapore food!
'metersbonwe' a brand of apparels that jay chow endorsed in china. cant find in singapore yet...not really going ga ga.. but some of my colleagues keep taking pics and getting his paperbags by buying things from there.... for me....alrite nia... shopping better! hehehehe.... okie that's all... obviously I MISS THE cheap shopping there....... hahahaa

Heard so much about this movie from my colleagues... Lucky them got the free tixs and I WAS ON LEAVE! DAMN! or else i would have gotten 6 tixs for the babes and hunks (hehehe u noe urself)
I finally went to catch it.. I find it really interesting and the jokes are really hilarious. Ok maybe I am easily amused? :D
but i am not easily pleased too eh! it's abit like meet the parents but now, it's betweeen the black and white. Unexpected things happen and I say every scene capture my attention.
It's not only about the humour but the meaning behind the movie goes a long way as well. race with grace and love has no boundaries. The lead actors make a huge difference too. He's very good looking (Demi Moore's bf) hehehe gers will be gers

My Account Executive (AE) Priscilla told me that it's got to do with SMRT new revamp brand Name : MOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVEEE coming soon
apparently, it was a branding awareness campaign and associate with COWS becoz MOOOOOOOOOOOOVE sounds like MOO?
corny as it is, but that's the way it is!
AEs being very 'marketing-oriented' told me that they should have sell off advertising space on those COWS as it attracts people's attention and take a chance to earn some revenue on those COWS since SMRT is reporting deficit on their P & L? (Imagine those money they invested in TV MOBILE, EZ-LINK and of coz not forgetting the many many contests on EZ-LINK LUCKY NUMBERS! deficit.. oh yeah sure did)

Ahhh No.. I did not go there for a holiday. MediaCorp Radio Sales Dept Company Retreat (WEeEeEeEEeEeEeE) and we call it a 'BRAINSTORMING' session to obviously go there and 'BRAINSTORM' for some teamwork discussion on: 1. Maximise Airtime Avails 2. Minimise Advance Billings
In short, How to maximise RADIO SALES and MAKE USE OF INVENTORIES(AIRTIME)? How to bring in the REVENUE in advantage to the FINANCE?
Interesting eh? Each team is gonna have a friendly fight... Guess we r all cracking our brains to be the ultimate CREATIVE team. With me, of coz.. :p And to include, MR CEO of RADIO, MR JAMES YIP is in our team. Charming guy *Awwww* really.. he's amazingly humble and nice to EVERYONE even the smallest fry.
Unluckily, I am taking CHINA EASTERN AIRLINES. Half of my colleagues are travelling on SIA SQ and wang fu jing is on renovation! Xiu shui jie has teared down -_-" oh well, gonna climb the GREAT WALL CHINA.. been to shenzhen, nv been to beijing so here's my chance...

Take some time to read this long passage of the difference between man and woman.. I think it's really interesting how Miscommunications & Misunderstandings can come about.
simply becoz we r different, like adams & eve like how gentle, how soft, how our inner feminine hormones evolve to think the assumptions.

At least from this email, i've learnt something. MaSculine. Can blame us? Maybe u guys would like to voice out?
Let's say a guy named Roger is attracted to a woman named Elaine. He asks her out to a movie; she accepts; they have a pretty good time. A few nights later he asks her out to dinner, and again they enjoy themselves. They continue to see each other regularly, and after a while neither one of them is seeing anybody else. And then, one evening when they're driving home, a thought occurs to Elaine, and, without really thinking, she says it aloud: "Do you realize that, as of tonight, we've been seeing each other for exactly six months?" And then there is silence in the car. To Elaine, it seems like a very loud silence. She thinks to herself: Geez, I wonder if it bothers him that I said that. Maybe he's been feeling confined by our relationship; maybe he thinks I'm trying to push him into some kind of obligation that he doesn't want, or isn't sure of.
And Roger is thinking: Gosh. Six months And Elaine is thinking: But, hey, I'm not so sure I want this kind of relationship, either. Sometimes I wish I had a little more space, so I'd have time to think about whether I really want us to keep going the way we are, moving steadily toward...I mean, where are we going? Are we just going to keep seeing each other at this level of intimacy? Are we heading toward marriage? Toward children? Toward a lifetime together? Am I ready for that level of commitment? Do I really even know this person?
And Roger is thinking:... so that means it was... let's see...
February when we started going out, which was right after I had the car at the dealer's, which means... let me check the odometer... Whoa! I am way overdue for an oil change here.
And Elaine is thinking: He's upset. I can see it on his face. Maybe I'm reading this completely wrong. Maybe he wants more from our relationship, more intimacy, more commitment; maybe he has sensed even before I sensed it--that I was feeling some reservations. Yes, I bet that's it. That's why he's so reluctant to say anything about his own feelings. He's afraid of being rejected.
And Roger is thinking: And I'm gonna have them look at the transmission again. I don't care what those morons say, it's still not shifting right. And they better not try to blame it on the cold weather this time. What cold weather? It's 87 degrees out, and this thing is shifting like a darn garbage truck, and I paid those incompetent thieves $600.
And Elaine is thinking: He's angry. And I don't blame him. I'd be angry, too. I feel so guilty, putting him through this, but I can't help the way I feel. I'm just not sure.
And Roger is thinking: They'll probably say it's only a 90-day warranty. That's exactly what they're gonna say, the scumballs.
And Elaine is thinking: Maybe I'm just too idealistic, waiting for a knight to come riding up on his white horse, when I'm sitting right next to a perfectly good person, a person I enjoy being with, a person I truly do care about, a person who seems to truly care about me. A person who is in pain because of my self-centered, schoolgirl romantic fantasy.
And Roger is thinking: Warranty? They want a warranty? I'll give them a darn warranty. I'll take their warranty and...
"Roger," Elaine says aloud.
"What?" says Roger, startled.
"Please don't torture yourself like this," she says, her eyes beginning to brim with tears. "Maybe I should never have... Oh my, I feel so..." (She breaks down, sobbing.)
"What?" says Roger.
"I'm such a fool," Elaine sobs. "I mean, I know there's no knight. I really know that. It's silly. There's no knight, and there's no horse."
"There's no horse?" says Roger.
"You think I'm a fool, don't you?" Elaine says.
"No!" says Roger, glad to finally know the correct answer.
"It's just that... it's that I... I need some time," Elaine says.
(There is a 15-second pause while Roger, thinking as fast as he can, tries to come up with a safe response. Finally he comes up with one that he thinks might work.)
"Yes," he says.
(Elaine, deeply moved, touches his hand.) "Oh, Roger, do you really feel that way?" she says.
"What way?" says Roger.
"That way about time," says Elaine.
"Oh," says Roger. "Yes."
(Elaine turns to face him and gazes deeply into his eyes, causing him to become very nervous about what she might say next, especially if it involves a horse. At last she speaks.)
"Thank you, Roger," she says.
"Thank you," says Roger.
Then he takes her home, and she lies on her bed, a conflicted, tortured soul, and weeps until dawn, whereas when Roger gets back to his place, he opens a bag of Doritos, turns on the TV, and immediately becomes deeply involved in a re-run of a tennis match between two Czechoslovakians he never heard of. A tiny voice in the far recesses of his mind tells him that something major was going on back there in the car, but he is pretty sure there is no way he would ever understand what, and so he figures it's better if he doesn't think about it. (This is also Roger's policy regarding world hunger.)
The next day Elaine will call her closest friend, or perhaps two of them, and they will talk about this situation for six straight hours. In painstaking detail, they will analyze everything she said and everything he said, going over it time and time again, exploring every word, expression, and gesture for nuances of meaning, considering every possible ramification. They will continue to discuss this subject, off and on, for weeks, maybe months, never reaching any definite conclusions, but never getting bored with it, either.
Meanwhile, Roger, while playing racquetball one day with a mutual friend of his and Elaine's, will pause just before serving, frown, and say,
"Norm, did Elaine ever own a horse?"

I was watching CHannel U juz now for almost 2 hrs because I was bored and restless. Channel U has revamped so much and I've been seeing Channel U stars in and out in mediacorp.
Weekends are so precious given the nature of my job. It's also a timeout to everything.
I would like to share about this program hosted by xiao zhu and xiao hei: tv something something. I am not those kind into taiwan variety shows or watsoever.
they had the kisskiss mission at the 1st part. okie NOT so interesting. the next is something that captured me.
they were on this mission to find the son of a mother who was partly crippled and has lost her husband in a fatal accident.
What really happened to her son? Apparently, he did not go home for almost 3 months and she was worried. He was only 19 yrs old.
They went to seek for his frenz and asked him. he was hostile but gave in. when they got there, he changed job to work in a HOTEL.
Actually I dun c the big deal with working in a HOTEL. this HOTEL is ain't ordinary. before confrontation to the area, they asked one of the filming crew to check out the area. Very cheesy place. The filming crew said he did not see anyone like in the photo. well, they did not give up hope so they left the van to ask.
The securities were taken aback and reacted strongly to tell the camera stop rollin' the boss came out and they explained tactfully. Soon, AH Cheng(son) came out!
he told them to leave. He wun go home to see his mother. Finally he relently agreed to go home tml afternoon. of coz, happy mother is really excited and cooking his fave dishes. SOOOOOOOO touching.. sobz
but he never came......
she was devastated. she threw all the food away. seeing her situation, still xiao zhu and xiao hei DID not give up hope! THey decided to bring her to find him at his hse the next day.
they instructed people to find his address and bring her to him in the night. he was shocked and started to shout. he keep saying NONE OF UR BUSINESS! he was really TOO much i tell u! He had a ger in the room and the mother was heartbroken.
Xiao hei and Xiao zhu keep scolding him to come to his senses.. it's his MOTHER they are there for. nonetheless, he started to push xiao hei and tell them to leave. Accidentally, he pushed his mother while trying to flee with his so called ger. Xiao zhu say...SHE's UR mother, U should be taking care of her and she's not mobile either.
His mother started weeping. He finally showed a tint of remorse. True or fake.. I dunno. but it's sure a DRAMA.
Xiao hei & Xiao Zhu left the house. left the family affair to settle itself. Xiao hei told that he juz lost his father and he understand he should cherish his mother. Xiao zhu added to state that it's no use having a grand funeral and cherished the person after losing the person. the best time is to cherish while they are still ALIVE. both of them tell in front of the camera to everyone to cherish their loved ones and give a call back home.
someday, somehow u will never noe what will happen.
it's really sad when he said there, reminds me of my grandmother funeral when my mum said that to me and my sis... I too started weeping. I missed her.... can't imagine... but I am happy she's gone to somewhere better. Meanwhile I will cherish my family because they are all that I have....

Hey I came upon this in Friendster bulletin and so agree with it. I wish to share with all of you. You may say love is blind but who dun wish to be loved by the perfect lover.
does a perfect lover exist? Actually yes. Not to anyone's eyes but only to you. You can overlook flaws and accepting differences. But with compromises and understanding, a relationship can really go a long long long way.
Used to think LOVE rulez it all. WIth Love, Relationship can overcome all obstacles but soon, you realise it takes 2 hands to clap. You ought to think what kind of lover u wish to seek in life and before u accept someone, do u foresee a mutual loving between both.
the question is "is he loving the way I would love him too?"
