WEEKENDS are what I look forward even how much I love the job.
Heroes wallpaper at work! keeps me going with miloOooO like godzilla colleagues that keep me laughing non stop. the one behind my laptop drinking. laughing partner!
I mean besides boasting about it,
it just got better :) I told nneth that this is THE best job I've ever gotten. I hope I can work hard and get the scholarship but also observing to see if its what I am looking for at least after graduation.
I accompany my mentor in my internship to an animation studios called "imaginary friends"
and met up with the studio head and I am just so amazed that they do concept art for warcraft, street fighters, GI joe manga, RPG games or card games, merchandise, books etc. on behalf of their clients.
their office was so cosy like at home with tons of anime and manga figurines and drawings done by the artists. they even had a billard table!

yeaps, go to lots of meetings and I finally feel like I learn something out of AN INTERNSHIP and get experiences I never thought I would outside the textbooks.
like spotting a tornado: where the hell can u get that in school or at home?!
taken from my Handphone from my office and it's really like WOW. swaku me, haven seen a water spout, a kinda tornado that happen in fair weather conditions and wears off within 15 min. not as dangerous like twister but it's sure an eye opener for us in office.
raffles place. the financial hub everyone rush in to work and get off at 6pm or later for the big bucks. HOW BIG?
I love golden shoe food stores good food but hate the crowd.
so when singapore is going to find another new bursting financial hub where people can settle in for?
every morning, squeezing thru the human traffic and all u hear is shoes stamping like anger release.
morning rush and shownig above the morning QUEUE for TODAY newspaper and apparently, u can't cut queue else U get complains from the talk column in the newspaper. that picture is NOT the worse, it's not even raffles place YET.
I saw a woman laughing and smiling in the mrt to herself and people think she's mad just because, they are expressionless.
oh come on, when can we ever smile and embrace a new day?
hate me but I am an optimist and hungry.
dun gimme sensitivity and complains. gimme something worth cheering for.

Oh yes, people... my name is earl is a GREAT series to catch.
its real hilarious WEDNESDAY 11PM channel 5 I just started watching it too.
it teaches me abt life, karma and all in all to be a better person. nope, u r NOT THE BEST.

But I think my PA rocks!
because I just enjoy what I am exposed to - industry engagements, meetings with external corporate customers, the mix of private and public feel, the involvement in the development of the schemes available, smashing NEW office, laptop for free! when my laptop is sent for repair :(, cool seat, wholesome amenities especially the thick godzilla milo gao gao DAMN NICE LA! can drink 4 a day (Ya I am a sucker for milo), the great underground link straight to office without catching the rain from MRT, golden shoe good and cheap food, liberty to do without aunties behind my back, great 3 other NUS interns who can be fun!, mentor who is so nurturing, another mentor who is so soft spoken, stationeries laid out for us almost unlimited, everything so organised, pantry area cum lounge that is so breath taking overlooking esplanade and the river, HR who gave us sucha nice intro, "we will help u discover urself" kinda speech, scholarship opportunity, my supervisor in charge who is so nice to let us do wat we can and always bother to ask hows everything and explain the Dos and Don'ts, kick-ass industries that I am in charge of: creative industries and info comm technology
well.... government sector but I am lovin' it.
because this co. really have something different from the past cos. i worked in. besides, there's no aunties that command me or sneer at my inexperience.
If there's something to complain? the HUMAN AND CAR TRAFFIC in raffles place and the TISSUE PAPER CHOP SEAT CULTURE the non stop hussle and bustle of raffles place crowd
one of the intern has alot to take over because her mentor is leaving. I hope she can pull through because if she does, she can be on par with the perm staff because of the exposure she's getting.
i love the pace they set and hope it gets better to maintain this way & i think my mentor damn zai!
ok time to turn in.
HEALTHY WORK LIFE - sleep early, eat fruits after lunch, drink lots of water (milo too) at work since the pantry is so breath taking.

finally can set off to Taipei, taiwan and my dearie is back with loads of stuffs!
so excited!
I got my professional attachment in a government job and I totally love the job scope which deals with corporate clients from creative and infor comm industries, helping teams in presentations, meetings and support.
it will be an eye opener to me as I have not worked in a govt sector before especially one in raffles place, tall tower overlooking the busy business district.
I pulled aman along as well and Hope she can get it! then guess what? friends working together and weekends seeing each other again.
we NEVER (MAYBE) can get bored of each other so I try to be fun and interesting.
right?
