Step Up is great movie! thummbsssss up

I have 3 passion in life: Designs (looking and doing), Dancing and sleeping

Ohya and also eating and singing and....... more!

so I love dance movies. groovy man the lead actor: channing tatum and it sounds like charming (indeed he is) and he also acted in she's the man.

I like the dance steps of contemporary ballet to a touch of hip hop. yeaps, do you realise all the movies are going towards a kind of dance with hip hop. so cool man. feel like dancing when I watch the movie.

not to miss the director, Anne Fletcher who is also some producer for the competition, "So you think you can dance" sweep me off my feet !

of course, if you are those who don't like hip hop or dance maybe you won't think it's that fantastic but come on, the actor is suay and the actress is also babelicious unless you can't stand ballerinas.

Story plot is so-so but still funny to crack some jokes here and there.

compared to some dance movies like take the lead, honey and some others I can't remember the title. This is definitely the best I've seen. at least got guy to oggle. hehe

there's many people having their exams now and may we all SURVIVE during these times of 'crisis'. it's been more than 10 years of books, when will we get to see the RETURNS AKA MONEY?

Because I just did my exams on RESEARCH METHODS (yeah!!!!) so therefore, I did my fair share of observation studies from descriptive stats to realise......

1. It is only in uni that I learned of the word 'MUG'. I mean why MUG? so I am a Mug-Girl (Mug-ger). sounds abit dumb sometimes but "HEY, LET'S MUG!"

2. I also learn another powerful word! 'CHUI' means totally screwed. yeaps, you can hear everyone saying "chui liao la" choy! 2 more papers to go, better NOT CHUI!

3. Everyone look zomified during exams. even you are the school belle, you will experience a 360 degrees change of from princess to white haired bride or worse, walking ghost.

*beat mouth* my 1st paper, I nearly shocked to death seeing girls with baggy eyebags, bad skin, hair not combed. Ok I should not be saying them but myself too. at least I scare myself 1st at the mirror and maybe try to do something abt it. HEY! THERE ARE STILL CUTE GUYS OK!

4. Everyone seem to bring a standardise set of things: tissue, water bottle, jacket, matrix card, calculator (even there's no calculations *diaoz for wat?) pencil box, handphone, wallet and for me, also an ANG BAO! HEHE gd luck ma

5. Chatty and gossips before exams. So long did not see classmates then started YAKKING YAK YAK YAK until realise shit, did not go through the notes.

6. Dressing sense sucks.

7. Is it really us? when I consulted my foreigner friends, they always tell me: "Relax, results is not the main point but most important, did you LEARN something?"

I am like, "you mean am I INTERESTED in what I am learning?" freaking results-based lo singaporeans (Tsk tsk trained from 6 years old: mummy asked, "how did you score?" I want sweets!)

anyway something I want to rant about exams. it's not tough but humans really know how to complicate things. I know I am nit-picking meaning it's really NOT A BIG DEAL but still...

WHY DO PEOPLE KEEP THINKING THEY WILL FAIL ?
WHY DO PEOPLE KEEP SAYING IT'S OVER?
WHY DO PEOPLE KEEP COMPLAINING ABOUT THE MISTAKES THEY MAKE IN THE EXAMS?
WHY DO PEOPLE KEEP SAYING IT'S DIFFICULT?
WHY DO PEOPLE KEEP PROCLAIMING THEY WILL NOT DO WELL?

AND THE BEST THING?

they get AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAs!

Ok I can't take it! everytime coming out of the exam hall, I hear people saying all these and ironically, I can't get A because these people got As (don't ask me how I know, I JUST KNOW some of them)

terrible! so pretendious and telling what a total failure you are and then You secretly laugh to yourself of how well you did.

stop claiming ur FAKE statements. Ok forgive me if you think you are maligned, do it at your quiet spot because MOI can't take all these when I keep my mouth shut and get BCDs.
enough!

Today is the faithful day when I remember I was CHEATED of nearly $1200+!

ya I did not tell anyone but only my family would know about this.

it happened about 4 yrs back when I befriend a colleague, let's name her ms ungrateful.

I was only 19 and working as a program consultant then.

she was a senior and worked for 7 years more in the company.
at first, I felt unwelcome because we were both in sales, it's normal and it did not really bother me.

yeaps, I don't really care. that's my attitude until my boss paired me and her to be 'partners'. unfortunately, we got really close to that extent, she would buy me gifts out of the blue and tell me all her daily stuffs and happenings.

as u noe, I do not wish to offend her and yes, I treated her as a good soul mate because she was 26 and I must say, real street smart, eloquent and elegant too. she's good in sales too. strangers over the phone consulted her for the first time and close sales after sales (hey me too! after getting skills frm her.. hehe)

often, we go out during lunch times and occasionally she would tell her guy to send me home. she buy me nice stuffs like clothes, shoes, food to eat, plush toys, dvds and even brought me and gal frenz to HONGKONG FOC! Mind you, I did not ask for them and ultimately, I accepted with gratitude.

one fine day, she asked me if I can lend her any handphone line to use. coincidently and stupidly, I have a spare line unused and has a few more months before end of contract so I lend her (ya I am NICE!)

then what? she use until every month choke up to $150 at least. she always say she will pay but she never did.

at first she told me to do it 1st and she will clear it off. all LIES...

then one fine day, I got a $500+ bill. how did she even use?! she has some business in malaysia and goes in and out everyday. and she went shanghai and hongkong for holidays.

ok, this has been continuing for a few months with me clearing her stupid phone bills about $400+

I see into account that she was also nice to me. everyday I wanna bug her but we are both so busy with work and also hard to open my golden mouth.

both of us quitted the jobs because I wanted a change of environment. for her, I am not sure.

now, I know I gotta take back the money! I tried calling her, smsing her to no avail. she moved house and I don't know where to look for her. that time it was about $900+ owed. at 1st, she replied she paid and wil pay. liar! I checked and it's still there.

and then she will shun me no matter how hard I tried. I ask my other colleagues and they all just lost contact with her too.

My parents were furious! because I was so naive. the line belongs to my mum but my father helped to clear the debt and said this is one lesson to be learnt.

I was very agonized by this incident because not only I trusted this friend and got betrayed but got my parents into this big freaking mess because our house line got cut off and blacklisted by phone service provider. damn!

$1200+ - it's a lot. imagine what I can do with this money? my father was very kind not to pursue the matter and told me never ever to trust friends like that.

I was thinking back all the BULL SHIT CRAP TALK she was telling me abt how she got cheated by some friend who took her credit card and signed for many things and how her bf used her name in car loans and products. TOTAL SHIT CRAP!

because for your info, she left him for another F*cking rich guy who was only 19?

she want me to pity her and to think I even believe her and remembered her FREAKING BIRTHDAY - 22ND NOVEMBER! and she's 30 this year. to think that a 26 yr old can't even think compared to a 19 yr old.

may GOD BLESS HER. she needs it

and please people, for the love of urself, ur future and ur loved ones...DON'T BE GUARANTOR or lend money to people who MADE PROMISES AFTER PROMISES.

they are meant to be broken.

I shift my guard and put on wary sheets but not paranoid. never talk abt money with friends.

As above, I think it is possible still. After observing and got some GOOD guy friends, why not?

eventhough sometimes, the girls tend to take advantage of the guy or vice versa.

we must always draw the line between friends, crush, lover, bf, meantime F buddy etc.

I really hope to be friends-only-no-love with some guy friends for LIFE and if he is reading it, he will know who I am driving at. But hey I am also quite flexible, nobody knows the future. maybe someone near me STRIKE RICH! WAHAHAHA

to do it, we need some rules & regulations (hey, we are humans, prone to errors esp matters of the heart and desires).

Guidelines for Platonic Friendship

1. No hugging for greetings or salutations. Hugging is only allowed for

pursuit of other women, so if you are going to be seeing me in a bathing

chores with beer. Please hand me the case as a gift versus doling them out

times when the brush of a leg or a sleeve is purely accidental, but try to
be careful. You can take steps to not put your arm in mine while walking or
lay against me on a couch or other things like that. Those things would lead
me to think you want me to sex you.

13. No asking for massages or neck rubs, that.s a lot of foreplay to waste
on someone who doesn't want the main event. Besides, shouldn't your
boyfriend give you massages? Why aren't we dating again?

14. No dating any guy who treats you bad or neglects you in any way, that's
just a slap in my face. I fucking adore you.

15. No judgments on any of my behavior. It would lead me to think you care a
little too much about my well being. So I don't want to hear any, "Stop
smoking", or "Don't drink so much," or "Don't use women." Of course if I am
truly being an asshole in some situation, feel free to clue me in, that's
what friends do.

16. You have to let me know immediately if you want to be more than friends.
I'm only doing this to respect your wishes. If you ever want more, rest
assured that I do too. At any moment we can tear these guidelines up and
spend 24 hours doing every imaginable sexy act.

ya! since I last touched my books..

I juz cleaned up my room - swept, mopped, cleaned.

it feels damn good now to study. even my fingers can feel the cleanliness - no speck of dust.

Thanks for all the bday wishes and I got some really surprising long time friends who have not contacted me for years? you know who u r. appreciated really!

I am still in the birthday mood. lalala

Had alot of fun and laughter as usual with the peeps and it's good to see all of them again

There's something weird about me. unlike other girls, I don't really fancy cakes (only my mum's panda cake) but I don't really like chocolate, creams, pastry not because of diet reason but just don't like. So the only time I eat cakes will be during my birthday and pinches from my friends' cake orders or their bdays. other than that, nahz. that's why, "where the cake meets my stomach"

Not forgetting our dinner buffet at Furama Riverfront @ The Square. The food is not bad! got sashimi (though I don't eat) and chocolate fondue (that's what I mean by WORTH IT!) 1 for 1 deal from UOB. hehe

then we proceeded to Vivocity.. heh I noe some people don't find it fantastic but I really appreciate the night view alot. Though I've seen more beautiful ones overseas but the clean view of sentosa is more than I can ask for in Singapore

I got a new bolster in my hall! *hugs* I love my bolster nneth bought me. I love the dress my sis bought me. I love the perfume my maid bought me. I love the adidas voucher! hmm dunno what to buy. I love the ang paos by my parents. I love the electric toothbrush yf bought me and I love the treat by achilles. hoho!

I had a great time now the sad news, TIME TO HIT THE BOOKS!

since I last blogged.

tell you all, you also won't believe.

I am only FREE only now to blog.
Ok not really exactly but whenever I am online, there's other 'distractions'
and when I am not online, I will b out there.

because school work is never ending. projects, quizzes, assignments.
Ok enough of school work.

finally today everything has ended and time to get to books.

my exams start on the 22 Nov and end on the 28 Nov
ooo I can't wait!

There's many things that happened during these 2 months. To sum it all,
my BIRTHDAY IS ON 13 NOV!!!!!

hahahahaa... just a joke

I wonder who's still looking at this blog. Just some quick updates just in case you forget me :P

1. I was supposed to go Amsterdam for a 6 mths exchange. only 2 people selected but my 'partner' opted out and my parents thought it will be unsafe in a foreign land as the perception of netherlands are weeds and condom shops.

2. Also, I intended to join the L'Oreal Brandstorm challenge that will be happening til next year.

3. I joined Future Talent Award just for fun :P

4. I took up a part-time job in NTU for some cash purpose and It turned out quite gd becoz it's flexible and I can go after my lessons

5. I have a tan line! *gleeeee*

6. ya I really hated the haze that time.

7. I love my new hall! staying in new hall 16. air-conditioned with curtains. single room. best of all, I can walk to school everyday! 5 min to north spine, 15 to 20 min to south spine. I realised I love to WALK! I like to observe fellow ntu students and the greeneries around me.

8. I THINK i love school? Nahz.. I am no nerd

9. I love designing! learned photoshop and Flash. thanks to DMC and also to some lessons conducted over the holidays.

10. Given credit to that, I joined Accountancy and Business Club Academic Club as a subcommittee and designed 2 posters to show to the deans of NBS. and they were very satisfied! To all designers, I am sure you will understand how I feel! The feeling when your designs are appreciated and praised is something you can't describe. I am grateful :)

11. I want to experience MORE. I want to join competitions, travel to europe for exchange, go USA for summer program.

12. I am so EGO.... maybe people dislike this sheer confidence in me.

13. I love to do presentation and thanks to Connor Prof who praised on my presentation skills. kudos!

14. My birthday is on 13 Nov

15. My temper is worse now.

16. Have less time. less commitment for everything.

17. BUT! I still love shopping.

18. I went to overdrive, thanks to my dear aman! totally rocks! wade robson is a total knock out! he dances, he's cute and he teaches. bad news is he's married :(

19. I wanna club! I wanna groove and shake my body. shake off those fats!

20. I wanna work and go out there to earn some hard bucks!

21. I am learning things everyday

22. I think I saw my primary school classmate in NTU and shy to call her *blush*

23. errr, facial and haircut is what I seriously need now!

24. I must take my driving license and do braces soon!

25. I have became practical. no more dolls for me pls!

26. I watched 3 great drama serials!!!!!!!!!!!!! FULL HOUSE (yaya, I am slow can?) I watched in youtube.com! so damn nice. RAIN is cool! hehe, ONE LITRE OF TEARS (super super sad with compliments from xueqi!) I cried every episode :'( and the channel 8 drama series - the enchanted life. I am so hooked to these 3 dramas. up on the list! GOONG! hoho.

27. I am NOT available (kekeee)

28. watched great movies! like Death Note and The Guardian. up on the list: the Prestige and Step up! go check out the previews!

Actually why I started blogging because I was chatting with Rank in MSN. he have not msn me for the longest time too. hahaa...

He was doing well! got a license, a better job that have good prospects, taking his degree, getting fitter hor? ;)

he thanked me, I din remember.

I said things which I dun remember to tell him to buck up and he has achieved not much to gain some ger's attention ( who?) and because of that, he went to prove himself with all his achievements so far.

hahaa.. I guess you are reading this now. I am happy for u! really sincerely...
U showed ur appreciation and made my day :) at least I know what I said not in vain and didn't mean to bring you down that time. I hope I din hurt your pride.
