I am going back end June probably 25 June but yet the feeling is neither exhilarated or excited.
Truly, I miss Singapore. I miss my family, my dogs, my friends, the food, the life, the shopping etc.
However, I know for sure I will miss Maastricht.
Maastricht is peaceful. Maastricht has cobbled streets! Maastricht has laughter of kids, footsteps (&poos) of dogs. Maastricht is small and everywhere is accessible by foot. Yay! Singapore is small too but who the hell "walk" in Singapore? Maastricht is very expensive. everything is like double. Maastricht has a high population of old people and students. Maastricht has no life. let me clarify: no clubbing scene but de alla makes us all happy and high :) Maastricht shopping is not bad really. Maastricht has great belgium waffles. Maastricht has attractions i've yet to experience. Maastricht has good chinese food!
Maastricht has all what I asked for :)

The days spent will be unforgettable. I made friends and friends I will treasure. The walk..... the path of where I pass to school. The sunrise and sunset in maastricht shining through my window. The cold, ohyes the cold...unbearable but almost missed it when the sun is up.
I learned so much here... being away from home. that NOT EVERYONE is the same and not that anyone can take shit from u.
yes, we are humans. we will miss home.
Maastricht, a unique on its own.
I went to discover holland to other cities like amsterdam, eindhoven, utrecht, den haag, den bosch, rotterdam but ask me again, which is the best city?
still,
Maastricht, my 2nd home and home will never be forgotten.
resident will be back!
maybe in the later years.
