Today, I wanna share with you guys something I've learned through observation.
Since young, I realised I love to observe people be it in bus, MRT, workplace, school, home, anywhere and any place.
I remember some people thought I was looking at them with offence, interest, familiarity or be it something.
Singaporeans. BIG problem of being so unfriendly and not smiling (oopss! talking about myself).
So some special observation I made today that really touched my heart or should I say things you do not see everyday.....
Oh! There was this YANDAO.....
Gotcha! Just kidding. everywhere also can c YANDAO from the bottom. Lynette speaks with meaningful things to share. guys? Not worth the space =P
my real encounter experience with the less fortunate, unlike you and me...just like those from the TV.
Encounter #1-
It was around 1pm+ and my lunch break.
It was pouring rain at tanjong pagar plaza
It was the normal working crowd trying to get their food
But..It was unlike normal days because music was in the air..
a beautiful voice that merge with the splattering of the raindrops hiting against the walls and ground.
Clearly, the voice won the attention and capture me within.
I thought it was a CD shop playing
then I saw a blind lady in her mid 30's siting on a small stool with a box filled with coins in front of her.
OMG! She's the woman behind that voice that bewildered me at that moment.
Alas! I was full of admiration when she sang songs like christina agrilera - I turn to you, Leann Rimmes - Can't fight the moonlight, Mariah Carey - Hero.
Mind you, she sang like singapore idol, with pride and with power
Singapore idol of her own.
She really really made me stand out from the sun that shone on us.
A shadow that I cant-sing-as-well-as-her kinda of thought that I was thinking.
Of coz, I spare some cash and placed into the box and merely mention:
"Thanks for the beautiful music and ur great voice"
She smiled :)
She did it.
Out from her misfortune.
Her talent.
Her voice.
Her feelings towards the song.
Encounter #2-
This is really touching.
I was on the bus way home from NAFA.
I was siting in front. Near the new old airport road foodcourt, up came a family of 3.
When you see them, there's nothing special about them.
A loving father carrying his baby toddler ger who is so cute! feel like pinching her cheeks siting opposite me.
A smiling mother facing them, beside me with eyes of adoration to her daughter.
I was juz stoning away after a tiring day.
Until I heard the father making dumb noises to someone waving to them. He was trying to tell his daughter to wave goodbye.
He was not speaking juz squeaking away. ..
It caught my attention.
I glared over with politeness of course.
he started making hand signs at his wife.
So did his wife.
OMG! my heart broke.
both of them are MUTE.
I wanted to show my most respect so I controlled my expression.
the baby ger was making baby noises. I hope she's not affected.
She was an angel.
A precious to both of them.
I can feel it.
A family's love.
Now then I realise, NKF's shows of touching stories are REAL. downright REAL.
I've seen them
I smile at the baby because she was looking at me. her father smiled and I smiled back. :)
I think they had an enjoyable moonlight night. smiles...
