Yesterday Once More
Got free pair of Tixs to watch this movie by Mediacorp... Special Screening in Shaw Towers. Dunno who to choose so in the end went with ah man... hahaha....
My preview of movie is gonna be subjective so take it or leave it. Each on its own. Exclusively my comments.
Brief of the story from GV:
Socialite and successful businesswoman Mrs. Thief (Sammi Cheng) can hardly turn down business tycoon Steve’s marriage proposal when he offers her his family treasure. On the eve of their wedding, two mysterious gangs appear and steal her prize win. The marriage is off and suspicion grows. Mrs. Thief suspects that her ex-husband, millionaire Mr. Thief (Andy Lau), is the man behind this heist. Having parted ways for some years, the couple’s paths cross again and Mrs. Thief is certain that her ex-husband steals the treasure in order to sabotage her marriage and get her attention…
I watched the making in TV Mobile and thought it's interesting.
I like something that Andy Lau commented about L.O.V.E:
LOVE is something that you do not wish to see the one you love suffer even how much U want her by ur side. When both grew old together, you hope you will be the one to stay behind because U rather suffer being lonely and bear the pain to losing your loved one. He says: This is when it's true love. I wonder how he would react in real life when acting that kinda of role. Noblely in 'Love'.
Love is Selfish? I dun buy that.
I've learn something more valuable:
Andy Lau Points out to me:"TO understand her, TO compromise her, To give her the best, Never expect her to do anything for him." TOo bad so far Never met such guy in my life before!
Most of the guys I met expects too much. Way beyond. Expectations KILLS hope. Hope KILLS chances.
Sammi Cheng Points out to me:" Daimonds isn't everything after all, Love is not measured by wealth, Not everyone is a winner, Sometimes.... U need to go through somethings to realise what one really wants :)"
I guess she found out but yet she isn't sure at the end...
I must say, The movie captivates me. It's not a comedy as what they usually act. The chemistry between Andy Lau & Sammi Cheng is seamlessly marvelous. The eye glares, their bickering, their hidden love, their corniness, their sly is the foreground of the story plot.
I like the story plot indeed. Romancely twisted. Romancely lovey in it's own way. IN a way different from the rest of the movies they acted b4 ( Yeah I am a fan of their movies :P)
True. Andy Lau says (not that I am a fan but he do make sense. Actor for nuts?)
No other couple can replace them for these roles.
*hands up*
Watch it and U will believe it >.<
A rainbow to end my day
