A catastrophe that swept the hearts of many.. a threatened epidermic that lives with us forever
These few days... Heaven is empthasizing. The sky is tearing. The gods are crying...
where's the sun?
maybe the sun is unable to shine down on the earth..........
Stories after stories filling up the newspapers and they are real life and people who do exist..
I felt heartpain and tears flow uncontrollably
Perphaps, that's what I can only express
Here's some I read and heard frm my mum:
1. A mother grab hold of her 8months old baby, found a cable and clinged on to her dear life and his. she managed to climb to the top of rooftop and survived. Below her, she see people swimming and fighting to the current and eventually disappearing... and there's nothing she can do...
2. His gf heard the news about the tsunami wave that happened in another country. her bf-soon-to-be was at the beach. Risking her life which was bound to be safe, she went to inform him and the wave came soon after that. he ran and survive. She did not. omg.. all for love :(
3. A family of 5. 2 young sons and 1 youngest daughter of 6. every year they go phuket for holidays. they were swimming and heard people screaming to RUN! RUN!!!!the brother catch hold the hand of his 6 year old sister. They run for their dear lives. becoz the wave was too strong, the brother let go and she continue running. She was swept inside the hotel and clinged on to a sofa she saw. She held on and met up with a chambermaid from the hotel. they saw an overturned boat and both overturn the boat and sit inside. They survived. she's back in Singapore. her brothers and parents r missing. The maid gave her a thai god to place with her becoz they survived. This is really sad. I wept.... :~~(
40% died are all children. Many flights to Phuket were fully booked from Singapore. Singapore girls are known to like Phuket for its shopping, beach place, spas, suanas, food... many are killed.
now U may have contributed to donating food, clothes and such but do u noe they are all stranded in the airport becoz of the hazardous weather and the lack of infrastructure and transportation?
They realised there are alot of useless things donated by people. People are making use of this situation to get rid of old stuffs.
Please: do not give things that u urself do not want. it's not a living garbage collection place. The best will be $ - flexible to c how they can contribute.
Some of the places that striked are in jungles and in remote places where accessibility is really bad. There is so much to think abt to even deliver help to these people.
I wish to salute a guy named RICHARD FONG who actually lead the 30 jeeps to deliver food, clothes, 1st aid and died along the way. he wanted so much to help but meet with a mishap accident.
This is really sad and misfortune. what can be more amazing that earth itself? It's true. Hard to predict. Uncontrollable
Life is predestined. Noone noes wat will happen. cherish ur life all....
