it's all over

I dunno where to start and where to end.

3 weeks is over and I wanna say the shanghai university and hong kong baptist university summer program has been one of the best thing that happened to my life.

simply amazing how time flies and I've once again gained another level of perspective in life.

I've learned so much about working with classmates with cross cultural diversity : france, holland, hongkong, australia. THey are so great that I am gonna miss each and everyone of them.

I came with an open mind and an open heart and now, my heart has grown in diameters - broader i mean.

I've seen the poverty of china, learned chinese culture and I wanna brush up on my chinese language.

I used to look down on china and say hey! I wanna go europe and USA.

but now... China rocks! :P

Like what michelle who was our program coordinator - a fabulous woman.
been to cornell university and worked in washington for years before going to hongkong to work.

I asked her why din she continue staying on in the USA to work?
she told me this, "I prefer Asia, it's much more interesting."

true.

what kinda pay can u expect and the kinda skills they need you in the developed countries?
U can be so ordinary there. nothing niche. noone special.
whereas china, you are important. u r needed and best of all, u learn more.
and I think as a Singaporean, I am proud to say, we have both skills becoz of our exposure to western and eastern culture and of coz our bilingual skills.

shanghai oh shanghai. lovely bund.

in case u think it's the shopping. nope (that's besides this)
the people here? nahz.. they can be real nasty - shouting, spitting, scolding.
the ladies here are really HOT! hot in a way - they can dress well, daring and bold and damn! they r fair with good complexion.

ok watever.

We went for corporate visits to big MNCs and all i can say, I am so impressed.
talents are needed in china and the pay?
u betcha - EXPATS!and with the low standard of living - u can be a queen here boy!

the houses? are like western countries.
ok im not trying to bullshit here but I've been to paris, USA, switzerland
ya and they like cars of volkswagen. almost everywhere i c that brand of automobile.

the professors we learned about business management influenced me once again.
there's many singaporeans here and teaching us to see the LIGHT.
really fun.

no regrets.

I am going to travel to beijing to visit cheryl and here, I am going to stay with shanghai GIP students (hopefully)

else, independence to learn something new again.

this is so different from studying in Australia for 2 mths.
geez, I've matureD! hehe...

definitely brushed on my bargaining skills and the networking skills of coz.

I already miss my summer program frenz.
definitely wanna go amsterdam, hongkong, perth, paris again to meet them.

and of coz, I can't wait to go back singapore. it's where my family and friends are.

it's juz part of getting used to one country and leaving another.
in the end, you have to go back where u belong.

Memories retain.
but it wun be the end.

Hope I can post more fotos! and share my album. meanwhile come back to check for updates.

tata!
