A blessing in disguise or maybe I am too optimist for real.
But I think my PA rocks!
because I just enjoy what I am exposed to - industry engagements, meetings with external corporate customers, the mix of private and public feel, the involvement in the development of the schemes available, smashing NEW office, laptop for free! when my laptop is sent for repair :(, cool seat, wholesome amenities especially the thick godzilla milo gao gao DAMN NICE LA! can drink 4 a day (Ya I am a sucker for milo), the great underground link straight to office without catching the rain from MRT, golden shoe good and cheap food, liberty to do without aunties behind my back, great 3 other NUS interns who can be fun!, mentor who is so nurturing, another mentor who is so soft spoken, stationeries laid out for us almost unlimited, everything so organised, pantry area cum lounge that is so breath taking overlooking esplanade and the river, HR who gave us sucha nice intro, "we will help u discover urself" kinda speech, scholarship opportunity, my supervisor in charge who is so nice to let us do wat we can and always bother to ask hows everything and explain the Dos and Don'ts, kick-ass industries that I am in charge of: creative industries and info comm technology
well.... government sector but I am lovin' it.
because this co. really have something different from the past cos. i worked in. besides, there's no aunties that command me or sneer at my inexperience.
If there's something to complain? the HUMAN AND CAR TRAFFIC in raffles place and the TISSUE PAPER CHOP SEAT CULTURE the non stop hussle and bustle of raffles place crowd
one of the intern has alot to take over because her mentor is leaving. I hope she can pull through because if she does, she can be on par with the perm staff because of the exposure she's getting.
i love the pace they set and hope it gets better to maintain this way & i think my mentor damn zai!
ok time to turn in.
HEALTHY WORK LIFE - sleep early, eat fruits after lunch, drink lots of water (milo too) at work since the pantry is so breath taking.
