I got it when I was in secondary 1 - 13 years old.
A story I thought I should pen down and remember for life.
I was a nerd that time but not a very smart nerd either. haha. I had this good friend in class and her name is meeta.
she's super irritating and super smart that we always squabble and argue. I remembered I kinda pulled her pony tail because it's so damn short and ugly.
Ok, I am not that evil alrite.
she was from india and her maths was kick-ass easy for her. not for me.
she's loud and always laughing. siting behind me. nerd then always told her to SHUT UP.
yea, we are friends. good friends even. became top in class for grades. instant enemies to check and compare our grades.
remember, I am not a bright student so damn, that indian pony ger always win me.
One fine day, teacher cik rithwan (Gosh! I remembered her name...) told us she will give us a reward to whoever got the highest grade.
it's not like cash or any big reward but because of my pride, i wanna beat that indian pony ger becoz she's getting more irritating and arrogant.
expected, I lost :(
she got the prize.
it was a RULER. I kept quiet.
then she came to me and gave me the ruler. I was touched and though it's not the gift I desired, it was the thought that I appreciate.
It taught me not to be so hard on getting the best grade. I mean I did my best and my friend, meeta showed me the meaning of friendship.
this ruler I kept til today in my pencil case to remind myself during exams. just do my best!
As for my friend, meeta.. we became better friends, prefects working together in secondary school, going recess together and pulling jokes.
recently, contacted her and she's doing very well in JP Morgan undergoing training in USA. good for her since her maths is so kick-ass.
while me struggling to find out what the hell is t-test and z-test all about?
