was superb! for the singapore retailers association 30th anniversary dinner at the meritius Mandarin.
Ok alot of big retailers were there like hour glass, capitaland, courts, C.K Tangs, Metro etc.
The coolest was Lee Hwa jewellery who won the best dressed table who wore all the BLINGS BLINGS on their necks. Man, my eyes light up as well when they all take photos. it was definitely networking session for them that night.
make me feel like want to reach that stage someday.
Shit! was teased by flying dutchman that night.
Ikea won the best store concept that night. we had good drinks and evelyn (HR manager) introduced me to the swedish managers of each department. it was gd handshakes and booze to add with the cheers!
I was glad that Ikea cheered for me when I went up to get the scroll from Minister of trade and industry: Mr Lee and SRA president: Dr Jannie Tay.
it was a night we interacted and it was good to meet everyone of them :)
the best thing is we each gotten a $1000 voucher from borders but what can I do with them? textbooks, dvd, books.
gimme some books on philosophies, I like!
